After 2 days of fighting in Belgium and 16 high-speed stages, Tänak Ott / Järveoja M. (Hyundai i20 N Rally1) took the lead. They lead by 8.2 seconds ahead of second placed Evans Elfyn / Martin Scott (Toyota GR Yaris Rally1). Third place goes to the crew Lappi Esapekka / Ferm Janne (Toyota GR Yaris Rally1) at +1:09.8.
In reality, the fight for first place tomorrow will be between Ott Tanak and Elfyn Evans.

Ott Tanak and Neuville T. / Wydaeghe M. (Hyundai i20 N Rally1) showed a very strong fight for the leadership position during these two days. Neuville led by a comfortable lead of over 17 seconds by the 14 speed stage. In stage number 15 Wijtschate 2 with a length of 15.00 km, Neuville lost everything. The Belgian lost a certain victory in his home race after an accident leaving the track and landing in the ditch.
It's another run of bad luck for Neuville.
A fight for 4th place is coming on Sunday between 4th Fourmaux Adrien / Coria Alexandre
(Ford Puma Rally1) and fifth Solberg Oliver / Edmondson E. (Hyundai i20 N Rally1). The difference between them is only 5.7 seconds.
First in RC2 are Mikkelsen A. / Eriksen T. (Škoda Fabia Rally2 Evo) and 8th in the general classification.
The other big loser, the leader in the general classification Rovanperä K. / Halttunen Jonne (Toyota GR Yaris Rally1) crashed already in the 2nd speed stage and left the fight.
Only 4 stages remain on Sunday until the Ypres Belgium Rally Finale.
