First win of 2022 for Thierry Neuville in Rally Acropolis

Thierry Neuville won his first race of 2022. After a series of problems this season, Neuville won Rally Acropolis 10th round of the championship.
Second place goes to Tänak Ott / Järveoja M. (Hyundai i20 N Rally1) 15.0 seconds behind.
The following are by large margins, with third place going to Sordo Dani / Carrera C. (Hyundai i20 N Rally1) at +1:49.7.
Neuville's biggest competitor in Greece was Loeb Sébastien / Galmiche I. (Ford Puma Rally1), leading the field in the early stages of the race.
After the long 8th special stage Pyrgos 1 of 33.2 km Sebastien Loeb had problems with alternator belt after finish line. So Loeb lost the opportunity to fight for the victory in Greece.
In the following ninth special stage Rovanperä Kalle / Halttunen Jonne came off the course and continued but at a slow speed losing time.
Technical problems for Greensmith Gus / Andersson Jonas in stage 11 and Neuville had battery problems but still continued.
Another favorite dropped out in the following 12th stage - Lappi Esapekka / Ferm Janne after car problems.
Suninen Teemu / Markkula Mikko crashed out in the final stage on Saturday.
And today, Sunday, in the first stage of the day, Evans Elfyn / Martin Scott dropped out after problems with the car's turbo. They were in 4th position in the competition.
In the last stage of Rally Acropolis, Thierry Neuville was extremely careful, losing 14.3 seconds, but still the advance allowed him this insurance.
Power Stage won by Tänak Ott / Järveoja M. (Hyundai i20 N Rally1).
First in RC2 are Lindholm Emil / Hämäläinen R. (Škoda Fabia Rally2 Evo), with the favorite Mikkelsen dropping out early in the race.
