Posted by WRC - 07/06/18 12:28PM - 0 Comments - WRC - 1/52/53/54/55/5

Jari – Matti Latvala ( Toyota Yaris Wrc) with the time of 1’53’’9 is the fastest in this morning’s  shakedown in Olmedo .  “ The car is working very well and I am really satisfied with the set up. It will be a difficult race, we will see how the rain will effect, for us it is a disadvantage, while for the shakedown at the end it did not influence a lot the conditions since the grip was perfect.” To underline that on the first round on the damp ground Ogier, Suninen ( Ford Fiesta Wrc) and Mikkelsen ( Hyundai i20 Wrc) went wide and damaged their cars that were the repaired at service park. The Norvigian driver also had two punctures, and so his fellow countrymen Ostberg (Citroen C3 Wrc)
They said:

Mads Ostberg: “Everything ok apart from the puncture. The car is going well I am positive for the race.”

Esapekka Lappi: “ We have the same set up as in Argentina and Portugal, at the shakedown our Yaris went well. We will see tomorrow when the rain will influence our performance, no problem with the grip during shakedown
